週末の金曜日に久々に東京ドームに巨人阪神戦を見に行ってきました。
実はうちは親子三代にわたるトラキチだったりします。
ですが、2003年に福岡まで単身で日本シリーズを見に行ったにもかかわらずダイエーに負けて日本一になれず、来年こそはと思ってるところに星野さんが勇退し、岡田監督が就任したあたりで一気に阪神熱が冷めていました。
そこにきて例の球界再編成で更に興味を失い、今年にいたっては中継をほとんど見ない生活だったわけです。思えば野村監督の最後の年もあまりにつまらない野球に対してのささやかな抵抗として禁阪神生活を送ってたわけですが、岡田監督にも同じ匂いを感じてたのかもしれません。
今年は成績こそ好調だったのですが一向に興味が沸くこともなくニュースを見ながら
「へぇ～まだ一位なんだ～すげ～」
くらいに冷めてたので友達からこの試合を誘われたときも正直、とりあえず行っとくか程度にしか思ってなかったのです。
が、いざ東京ドームに向かいハッピを羽織り、メガホンを肩からつるすと、眠っていたDNAが目覚めたかの如く興奮していくのと同時に柄が悪くなっていくのが実感できました。
でも、負け犬根性が染み付いた往年の阪神ファンとしては調子のいいチームを応援するのには慣れていないらしく、初回に2点しか先制してないのにリリーフ陣がいいもんだから安心しきってる自分に居心地の悪さを感じたり、4-2とひっくり返されたシーンでも調子がいい選手たちを野次ることができず悶々としていました。まったく不幸なことです。
でも、たまにタバコをすいながら通路でモニターを観戦してると初対面の関西弁バリバリの兄ちゃんたちが
「巨人は知らんやつばかりやの～ここは読売ランドか？のぉ兄ちゃん。」
などと気さくに声をかけてくるノリは、やっぱり阪神戦はいいのぉ～と思ったりしました。
で、迎えた場面は8回表一打同点のチャンスに金本。今まで総変わりしてしまった応援歌を歌うこともできずに淡々としていたのですが、何故かこの場面はテンションが上がりまくり手に汗を握ってみていたところに頼れる兄貴の弾丸ライナー同点ホームラン。思わず
「兄貴～最高！！！」
と新宿二丁目で叫んだらそのまま拉致されそうな台詞を声が枯れるまで連呼してました。
ぶっちゃけ泣きましたよ。
試合は残念ながらサヨナラ負けしたのですが、久々にトラキチDNAを呼び起こしてくれたいい一日でした。
