というわけで、埼玉スタジアムまで行ってまいりました。今回は国歌斉唱も聞くことができました。
新聞やニュースなどで厳戒態勢と聞いていたのですが確かに厳戒態勢でした。まず、普段ならワゴン車の出店が並ぶ浦和美園駅からスタジアムまでの道にはお巡りさんが立っているだけでした。結構ドライカレーなどおいしいお店があるので楽しみにしていたのですが、ちょっと残念でした。
それに駅からスタジアムに行くと南ゲートにたどり着くわけですが、北ゲートへの道が警戒のため通行できなくなってたため待ち合わせの北ゲートまで延々と回り道させられる羽目になりました。スタジアムの入り口では金属探知機による検査もあったりでかなり厳戒態勢ではあったのですが、周りの日本人サポーターにはそんな殺気立った雰囲気もなく、いつもの代表戦な雰囲気でした。
今回はバックスタンドロアーのややコーナーよりだったのですが、席について真っ先に飛び込んだのは目に痛いほどの赤でした。ただ、試合中も鳴り物入りの応援などしてましたが、韓国応援団やレッズサポーターに比べるとかなり大人しい赤い軍団でした。残念ながら美女軍団は来なかったようです。
思いっきりピンボケですが国歌斉唱は石川さゆりさん。この人の国歌斉唱は何回か聞いたことありますが、優しすぎてどうも闘争心が削がれるような気がしてなりません。
試合は北朝鮮が思った以上にラインを上げてきたのでビックリしたのですが、前半早々に小笠原のフリーキックが決まってからは落ち着いた試合運びになりました。というか、なんかえらい気が抜けたプレーの連続で見てるほうもかなり寒かったです。北朝鮮の印象は思ったより強くも早くもうまくもないけど、攻守の切り替えの早さとプレイのシンプルさが目立ってました。一番の印象はキーパーが無茶苦茶下手でした。これでもかというパンチングに怪我をしてキャッチングができなかった若林君を思い出しました。
で、ハーフタイムにあまりにつまんなかったので冗談で「1-1においつかれて3-1くらいで勝ってくれないかな」なんて話してたのですが、後半が始まっても正確さと気迫にかける日本のプレーにイライラしながら、「やっぱりここで取られたら危ないね」なんて話してたら・・・やられました。遠いサイドでのゴールだったのでよく見えなかったためセンタリングがたまたま入ったのかと思ってましたが、よくよくリプレイを見たらアウトで狙ってる雰囲気がありました。川口もセンタリングと判断して動いたところを逆につかれたみたいですね。
この辺りから僕を含めた周りのテンションは猛烈な勢いで上がって
「きたねえぞ。さっさと蹴れ」
「へたくそキーパー時間稼ぐな」
「審判は北の味方か」
などと暴言の数々があちらこちらから聞こえるようになりました。「厳戒態勢は無意味にならないかも」などと思ったりもしました。
間近で久々に俊輔を見ましたが、やはりボールタッチの柔らかさはずば抜けてました。トラップの一つ一つの正確さや柔らかさ、ドリブルの時のボールの位置など、全てにおいて頭ひとつ抜けてました。
逆転ゴールは結局「へたくそキーパー(隣で見ていた中学生らしき少年が命名)」のパンチングのこぼれ玉をつないで大黒が決めてくれました。見ず知らずの中学生と抱き合うほど嬉しかったです。内容はかなりお粗末でしたが、とにかくしびれる試合でした。こういう試合が見れるのなら何度でもスタジアムに足を運びたいものです。
で、内容が内容だけにセルジオ・越後氏のような辛口コメンテーターは鬼の首を取ったように批判するでしょうが、僕なりにまずかったなと思った点。
- サイド攻撃が全く機能していなかった。特に加持は見せ場ほとんど無し。
- どうでもいいようなミスが多すぎた。攻めきれずに後ろでボールを回させられて、ミスでボールを失うシーンが多すぎた。
- ミドルシュートが少なすぎた。キーパーがあんなんだったんだから、後ろで回さずにガンガン打ったほうがよかったと思った。FKでは三都主が積極的に狙ってたけど・・・
ジーコについても批判が出るだろうけど、4-4-2を攻撃的に使って俊輔と小笠原を併用できたのは小笠原の今後のモチベーションなどを考えると、うまかったと思います。
後、審判。毎回思うけどアジアの審判のレベルの低さはひどすぎです。ありえないくらい判定の基準のなさでした。審判のレベルをあげるのは、さほど難しいとは思わないので、アジアのレベルは選手うんぬんよりここから上げるべきだと思います。
まぁ、とにかく勝ててよかったっすよ。
それにしてもマスコミは騒ぎすぎの煽りすぎです。
